Documentation for LLMs
Read complete Athas documentation as Markdown, cite source pages, and choose focused context.
Updated
Athas publishes the same documentation for people and assistants. The Markdown endpoints are public, do not require an account, and preserve commands, tables, platform labels and links.
Entry points
| Resource | URL | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Documentation index | /llms.txt | Discover guides by topic |
| Full documentation | /llms-full.txt | Read the complete guide collection |
| One guide | /docs/llms/installation | Retrieve focused Markdown |
| Getting started | /docs/llms | Read the docs home as Markdown |
The index and full export are also available at /docs/llms.txt and /docs/llms-full.txt.
Every guide has a Markdown link and a Copy page action. Each export includes the canonical
human-readable source URL for citations. Internal server runbooks and private account data are
not part of this collection.
Retrieve only what you need
curl -fsSL https://athas.dev/llms.txt
curl -fsSL https://athas.dev/docs/llms/cli
curl -fsSL https://athas.dev/llms-full.txt -o athas-docs.mdStart with the index, then retrieve the specific guides for the task. Full exports are larger and can consume unnecessary context for a narrow question.
Ground an answer
Ask an assistant to cite the source URL, distinguish macOS from Windows/Linux, check the user's Athas version and keymap, and include account or integration requirements where relevant. Do not infer an API, CLI option, permission guarantee or supported capability from a feature name.
Read https://athas.dev/docs/llms/installation and

Help me diagnose my Linux launch error. Ask for the exact error and package format.
Cite the source guide and keep commands specific to my distribution.Product docs versus project rules
These docs explain Athas. Your repository's AGENTS.md and other instruction files explain how
an agent should work in your project. See Agent context and instructions
for those files and their boundaries.
The exports are a convenience for reading and retrieval. Availability does not guarantee that any particular model or search engine consumes them.
