Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Athas Industries services, including Athas Code Editor ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Athas Industries provides a code editor and related software tools ("the Software"). The Service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with different feature sets.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Automatic renewal of your subscription until cancelled
• Payment of all applicable fees through our payment processor
• No refunds for partial months of service
• Price changes with 30 days notice

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices
• Use the Service to transmit any viruses or malicious code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software

6. Open Source Components

Athas Code Editor contains open source components. These components are licensed under their respective open source licenses. See our GitHub repository for details.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Athas Industries and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Athas Industries be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Athas Industries makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
